Mr. O’Donnell’s background in financial accounting and business management combine with his legal experience to facilitate business-oriented solutions to our clients’ legal and financial problems. Kevin represents banks, businesses and individuals in many areas of commercial litigation, loan workout and restructuring, and cases involving complex bankruptcies and business reorganizations. He has represented both debtors and creditors in complex bankruptcy cases in Virginia, Maryland and DC, including many of the most substantial bankruptcy reorganization cases filed in those Courts. In litigation in both state and federal courts, Mr. O’Donnell has represented clients in business disputes and cases involving commercial transactions, contract law, fraud and commercial real estate issues. For several years (2001 – 2004), Mr. O’Donnell served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at his alma mater, George Mason University School of Law, teaching Secured Transactions and the Uniform Commercial Code. Mr. O’Donnell is recognized in Washingtonian magazine’s “Top Lawyers” and DC’s “Super Lawyers” in the area of bankruptcy law.
